Hi.  My name is Paul,  and it is my pleasure to introduce you to Professional Sedation Services.  In this practice I provide a specialized conscious sedation service for various medical and dental procedures.  This is mainly a mobile sedation service meaning that I do sedations mostly outside a hospital setting.

Conscious sedation is an alternative to general anesthetic in many selected procedures that can be done in the dentists’ or doctors’ rooms.

Conscious sedation is the safe administration of painkilling and anxiety-relieving medication, so that minor but painful surgical procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis or in a dental surgery. Most dental procedures and many minor medical operations can be safely and efficiently performed under sedation.

A Sedation is a partial suppression of consciousness, where anesthetic is total suppression. In conscious sedation (CS) patients are aware of their surroundings and can respond to questions and other stimuli.
